Description
This painting comes from my heart. I grew up at 616 N. Front Street, directly across from Graveraet High School. I painted this picture from a slide my Dad took in the late 1950s after a massive Marquette snow storm. The vantage is directly from our driveway looking down Front towards Hewitt St. My grandpa walks in the road- I painted him in the type of clothes he wore as a young man in the early 1900s. Further down the street my grandmother walks in the snow with my sister and mother.
